Searching
When you search, your location, name, and filter choices are sent to our server so it can look up providers in the federal NPI Registry. We don't store your searches or connect them to you. Your filters appear in the address bar so you can bookmark or share a search.
"Use my location"
If you allow it, your browser gives the page your approximate position, and the page picks the nearest city from a built-in list. Your coordinates never leave your browser.
Saved therapists
Your saved list is stored in your browser's local storage. We never see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Contacting providers
Tendwell doesn't pass messages between you and providers. When you call or visit a provider, you're dealing with them directly, under their own privacy practices.
Practice service inquiries
If you send an inquiry about our practice services, we store your name, email, practice name, website, and message in our database (hosted by Supabase) so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you and delete it on request. Please don't include client information in an inquiry.
Provider information
Provider details come from the NPI Registry, a public database published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. We show practice information only, not home or mailing addresses.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
